Brandon Hall "Bug Hall" is an American actor and musician, He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and best known as Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer in the 1994 Little Rascals remake. He and five others in the cast of The Little Rascals won a Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Youth Ensemble in a Motion Picture.
Off to a good start, he followed Rascals by appearing in John Landis' The Stupids 1996 and the soccer comedy The Big Green 1995. In 1996 Hall was nominated for a YoungStar award (Best Performance by a Young Actor in a Made For TV Movie) for his work as Eddie Munster in the made-for-TV-movie The Munsters' Scary Little Christmas 1996 and voiced a character in Disney's Hercules in 1997.
Hall also starred in Disney's Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves 1997. The 90's eneded with Bug playing Scout Bozell in the movie Safety Patrol 1998. The next 10 years brought continued performances as a teenager and young adult. He appeared in 2002 in the Disney Channel's original movie Get A Clue, also starring Lindsay Lohan and Brenda Song.
It was also at this time that Bug appeared as Sam Callahan in the sexy teen comedy Skipped Parts 2000 (In the UK the film was titled The Wonder of Sex ). It missed the big screen and went straight to DVD!
2003 also saw two more major motion pictures: Arizona Summer where he played Scott, and... The King and Queen of Moonlight Bay, a made to TV movie where he played Tim Spooner, a the young man smitten with a new girl in the neighborhood. Look closely on your television schedule, you might find Bug on CSI, Cold Case or The O.C.
According to IMDb, Brandon Hall got his nickname from his mother. She worked at a day care center and she would bring him to work with her, even though she feared that the other kids would sit on him (apparently, he was a small child, even though now he's over 6' 3"). So, she made up a game that he was a "bug" and if they sat on him they would smash him. And it worked.
He attended Riverview High School in Riverview, Florida and received his High School Diploma in 2001.
